Cruise casino royal caribbean allure

Thank you for your polite detailed response. I'm not allergic but I hate smoke and I wouldn't even book near the casino. Smoke does rise, and it is ventilated, but it will also travel with the path of people as they walk through the casino. While you might not have a problem inside your room, you might in the hallways through open stairwells - as well as your child possibly running through the casino since you are so close. I wouldn't book a room anywhere near this area of the ship if I had a child who was allergic to smoke. This area is constructed as such so you travel through the casino, and spend some money. While smoke will not likelely travel down through the floor, where the casino's are located they typically act as a shortcut to other areas of the ship. I haven't stayed in one of these rooms but I will offer an opinion. What's so irrational about having a concern for your child who is allergic to smoke? Zero tollerance for her - 100% rational, and responsible.

This isn't a non smoker vs smoker conversation.

Your non-smoking lifestyle is very well respected, but you gotta keep the conversation rational. Look, I totally understand the concerns of non-smokers, but don't go nuts over it.
